    Update Your Email Templates with Branding & From Email Address

      Email notifications are a very important part of running a business selling domain names and online products, as they alert your clients as to when domain names are registered, products are ready to use, when to renew, and the invoices for their purchases, plus much more.

      Our reseller platform includes the full suite of email notifications needed to run your Reseller business, already included in our storefront system.

      These templates include:

      • Domain Setup, Registration & Renewal
      • Product Setup, Registration & Renewal
      • Hosting Setup, Registration & Renewal
      • Important Account Information & Updates
      • Member Password Information

      The emails can be updated with your own branding and colours and are automatically sent from an email address on your own domain name! You can also add custom information into the bottom of the email if you need to provide your clients with any specific information.
      Please note that the main text of these notifications are already optimised and cannot be modified as they must comply with certain registry polices.

      Customising and Personalising Your Email Templates


      Please see below on how to setup your branding and update the email address for these notifications:

      1. Log in to the Reseller's Console.
      2. Hover your mouse over the Account Settings option.
      3. Select Storefront.
      4. Click the Email Templates.
      5. In the Email Template section, upload your businesses Logo, add your Official Website address and add any Email Signature if required.
      6. In the Email Styles section, update your email templates based on your branding and colours.
      7. In the Email Contact section, update the Phone number and Support text, if required.  
      8. Use the Preview button to check how your notifications will look with your branding.
      9. Click Save to confirm changes.


      Updating the 'From' Email Address for Notifications


      For the full white-label experience, we will send all customer notifications from the business email of your choice! For optimal professionalism and requirement of a SPF record, we require you to use an email address on you businesses domain name and not free emails. (such as Gmail, Hotmail, etc.)

      1. Log in to the Reseller's Console.
      2. Hover your mouse over the Account Settings option.
      3. Select Storefront.
      4. Click the Email Templates.
      5. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Email Send From.
      6. Update the Email Address that you would like ALL notifications sent from.
      7. Or you can select Set By Type and define a different Email Address per department.
      8. Update the SPF Record for your domain name with your DNS provider.

        Important:

        We highly recommend that you update your SPF record to ensure that all of your emails are delivered to your clients and not blocked, bounced or put into their junk folders.
        Please update the TXT Record in the DNS for the sending domain name to the following:

        "v=spf1 include:notifications._spf.ds.network ~all"

        If you already have an SPF record the include:notifications._spf.ds.network can be added to your existing TXT record.
