    Setting Up WHMCS

      WHMCS is an alternative platform or solution for domain name management and billing, instead of our provided Reseller storefront. With the Dreamscape Networks Registrar Module for WHMCS you can start using your reseller account in WHMCS right away!

      Our WHMCS 1.1.1 module currently supports the following:

      • Register, Renew & Transfer Domain Names
      • Check Domain Name Availability (must be WHMCS  7.1 or later)
      • Premium Domain Name Support (must be WHMCS  7.1 or later)
      • Domain Name Management - Contact Details, Name Servers, Domain Transfer Lock, Auth Code (Domain Passwords).
      • DNS Product
      • Domain Name Privacy Product
      • WHM Reseller Hosting Product
      • Sandbox or test mode

      Installing WHMCS


      As WHMCS is a third party, and may require subscription fees, we recommend that you contact WHMCS directly for any questions or issues getting started with their software. Their installation guide for adding WHMCS to your hosting can be found here: https://docs.whmcs.com/Installing_WHMCS


      Downloading WHMCS Module


      Once you have installed the WHMCS to your hosting, you will need to install our Registrar module to connect to your reseller account. Our Registrar module can be added into your WHMCS account by simply uploading our files into your WHMCS instance, please see below for instructions on how to download these files.

      1. Log in to the  Reseller's Console.
      2. Hover your mouse over the  Account Settings option.
      3. Select API & WHMCS.
      4. Click  WHMCS Setup.
      5. Click the Download Module button.
      6. A zip file with all the files needed for our module will be downloaded to your PC
      7. Please follow the detailed instructions below on how to upload the files and enable our module.


      Uploading the WHMCS Module


      Once you have downloaded our module to your PC, you will need to upload the files to your hosting with WHMCS installed by following the following instructions:

      1. Establish a FTP connection to your hosting account or login to the File Manager within cPanel.
      2. Navigate to the directory where you installed the WHMCS on hosting.
      3. From that directory, navigate to and open the folder 'Modules' and then 'Registrars'.
      4. Open the zip file you have just downloaded and open the same folders of 'Modules' and then 'Registrars' and you should see a folder named 'Dreamscape'.
      5. Upload this folder and its contents into the 'Registrars' folder in your hosting account by drag dropping under FTP or upload function in the File Manager.
      6. You can now enable the Registrar module in your WHMCS.



      Enabling the Module in WHMCS


      Once you have downloaded our module to your PC, you will need to upload the files to your hosting with WHMCS installed by following the following instructions:

      1. Login to your WHMCS admin area.
      2. Navigate to Addons - Domains - Domain Registrars.
      3. Dreamscape will now be in the list, click Activate.
      4. Supply your Reseller ID and API Key, which can be found here.
      5. If you would like to test your setup first, please check Test Mode. (see below)
      6. If you would like all .au domains to auto renew on transfer, please check Transfer and Renew AU.
      7. Click Save Changes.


      You are now ready to use your WHMCS account with us!


      Using the Sandbox or Test Mode in WHMCS


      If you would like to test the WHMCS environment with our module before going into production, you can enable our sandbox or test mode:

      1. Login to your WHMCS admin area.
      2. Navigate to Addons - Domains - Domain Registrars.
      3. Dreamscape will now be in the list, click Activate.
      4. Check Test Mode.
      5. Click Save Changes.
