    Configuring Two-Factor Authentication

      Introduction

      Two-factor authentication (a.k .a. 2FA) is an extra layer of security used to ensure that people trying to access an online account are who they say they are. First, the user enters their username and password. Then, instead of getting immediate access, they will have to provide other information. We provide an opportunity to enable 2FA by calling or sending an SMS to the specified mobile number.

      Enabling 2FA

      1.  Log in to Reseller Console using your username and password.
      2. Go to the Account Profile Page 
      3. Follow the Security tab
      4. Enable 2FA 
      5. Enter your mobile phone number and select the preferred method of the verification
      6. Click the Verify button and you will receive the call or SMS on the specified mobile phone number
      7. Enter the last 4 digits of the calling number, or the code from the SMS in the form below. 
      8. Click the Verify button to complete the enabling of the Two-factor authentication.
      9. Congratulations! Your account is now more secure. During the next login, you will be asked for the verification code sent to the phone number specified during the setup process.

      Adding the Alternative Phone Number

      You can add an alternative phone number in place of the primary phone number. This is useful in case the primary mobile phone is not available then you have another mobile phone number that can be used as a backup.

      1.  Click the Add Alternative link at the bottom page of the Two-step verification window. 
      2. Follow the same verification steps indicated in the previous section

      Disabling 2FA

      You can disable the 2FA via the switcher: All the added mobile phone numbers will be saved, so you can enable it back at any time and not be required to verify the phone numbers again.


      Note: It's strongly recommended to have the 2FA enabled. 2FA adds an extra layer of security to your account including all the savings, domains, and products under this.
